Resilience: The RQ Every Entrepreneur Needs

In business, failure and rejection are part of the journey. What matters is how you respond when things don't go as planned.

Banks may turn you down, potential partners may disappoint you and opportunities may not work out. You can try again and still face setbacks. But resilience is what keeps you going, learning and looking for a better way forward.

When looking for a property to buy, I may examine as many as 90 houses before making a decision. Why? Because good decisions require research, patience and the willingness to keep looking until you find the right opportunity.

Entrepreneurs need more than IQ and EQ. They also need RQ , Resilience Quotient: the mental strength to face challenges, learn from failure and keep moving forward.

If there is one thing I will be remembered for, it is resilience.
